Sunday Activities at Sturry Church

Our main service times are 8am and 9:30am at Sturry and 11:00am at Westbere, but check the service times as there are not always services at 8am or 11am.

At Sturry church there is a children's corner with books and games, available for use during the service. There are also bags of toys for very small children.

Sunday - Messy ChurchMessy church

Once per month there is a Messy Church held within Sturry Primary School.

This is on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm and is aimed at families.

Messy is found across the world and is a way of being church for children and adults involving fun.  It is based on creativity, hospitality and celebration.

Messy church at Sturry starts with time to explore many different activities, mostly craft or activity based. This is followed by a story and maybe some prayers. Then we all share a cooked meal together.

Sunday - Flame music groupFlame music group at Sturry church - December 2009

Flame music group plays during the Sunday morning service. They practice from 8:45am until 9:15am most Sundays. Flame is a mx of ages and musical experience, and we can cater for beginners.

Flame has evolved over the years, sometimes being dominated by flutes and recorders, at other times by violins and clarinets, and sometimes many brass instruments. It is currently a string quartet with recorder descant.

 Seekers Evening with Pizza
