New Openings for Sturry Church
The new glass doors in the north entrance to Sturry Church have now been fitted, the porch walls have been repaired, replastered and repainted, and the existing wooden door and benches refurbished. What a difference!
The total cost has been just over £21,000.
Generous contributions from individuals and from the Friends of St Nicholas’ Church have so far amounted to £14,000. We can—if needed—make up the £7,000 balance from our reserves and bequests. But we face challenging times ahead for our finances, especially if we attract a new Anglican priest.
